House on the Mesa is a two-bed, one bath sunny ranch-style home set on three acres, and located on the border of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree, about a 15 minute drive to the center of each town. The house is newly renovated by us, with two queen bedrooms, an open kitchen and dining room with skylights and wood-burning stove. There is Starlink WIFI, Sonos, a record player, and a desert playlist by Sam. There’s no TV! But there are plenty of vintage books curated from the local swap meet.

The property is set on three acres, surrounded by Joshua Trees and sagebrush, and some neighborly horses down the road. In the back, you’ll find an outdoor patio with fire pit, lounge chairs, a cowboy tub (cold plunge pool) and a cedar hot tub and yoga deck. There is a vintage Mustang in the front yard, as well as two sculptural art pieces weighing in at 4 tons, by the local artist Simi Dabah.
